Meet Our 2025 Oliver Open Recipient: Zachariah's Acres

 

 

We’re thrilled to share that all proceeds from this year’s Oliver Open will support Zachariah’s Acres — an incredible local nonprofit creating outdoor experiences for children with special needs and their families.

Located just down the road in Oconomowoc, Zachariah’s Acres is all about inclusion, connection, and the healing power of nature. Whether it’s fishing, gardening, or simply exploring the trails, every visit is designed to help kids and families feel a sense of belonging. As their President, Terry Bartowitz, beautifully puts it:

 "You have a place here. You can be yourself."

We’re proud to support their mission and help even more families make memories in a space where they’re celebrated for exactly who they are.

About Zachariah's Acres

Zachariah's Acres is a one-of-a-kind place where children with special needs find purpose, belonging, and explore God's Creation. Located in Oconomowoc on 100+ acres, the universally designed campus features acres of wildflowers and prairie grass, 8,500+ square feet of raised garden beds, ¼ acre fruit orchard, ADA-compliant treehouse, greenhouses, an archery range, a bonfire & gathering area, an outdoor classroom, educational kitchen, thousands of evergreen trees, and more.
